Shidou, who had somehow been blind this whole time but still managed to pick up on everything, dramatically clapped his hands together. “Aww, do I hear PDA~?”
He meant to make a heart shape with his hands for the camera and audience, but—since he still had no idea where the camera actually was—he ended up holding it up directly in front of Rin’s face.
“…I love you,” he declared, gleefully, unbeknownst to the death sentence he was about to receive.
In response, Rin bonked Shidou aggressively on the head with an angry fist.
“Shidou-kun.” Anri tutted her head from the side of the room. “Please refrain from making inappropriate comments live! And Itoshi-kun, no violence, please!”

Rin tapped him and translated by throwing his hands up in exasperation and confusion. Nagi blinked lazily. “Im kneading.”
“That is not kneading! You’re just lying on it!” Reo clarified. To translate this, Rin crossed his arms into a big ‘X’ and shook his head.
“Well… it’s getting flatter.”
Reo genuinely considered giving up. Just letting them ruin the dough, burn down the kitchen, and take out the entire facility while they were at it. It would be less painful than enduring this any longer.

Somehow, somehow, despite being completely blindfolded, Shidou managed to wrap his fingers around the handle of a large, sharp kitchen knife.
Reo inhaled sharply, his soul momentarily leaving his body. “Shidou. Drop. It.”
Shidou just grinned, holding the knife up like he was about to perform a ritual sacrifice. “What? Relax, I got this. I’ll be careful—”
A blur of movement.
In a fraction of a second, Rin lunged, ripping the knife from Shidou’s hand with terrifying efficiency. He yanked it away so fast that Shidou didn’t even have time to react.
Shidou blinked, his empty hands now hovering in the air. “…Huh? Where did it go?”
Rin stepped back, gripping the knife in one hand and signing furiously with the other.
Shidou laughed heartily. “C’mon, don’t be dramatic. I wasn’t gonna stab anyone!”
Reo gripped the recipe like a lifeline, staring at it with empty, soulless eyes. This was it. This was how he died. Not on the field. Not from overtraining. But from a goddamn baking challenge. “Rin-kun, get Nagi to cut the dough. Now. Before I lose my will to live.”
