Donning a grief‑collage costume that borrows pieces of Nightwing, Red Hood, and Batman, Tim abducts the Joker and administers a symbolic curriculum of punishment designed to make the Joker experience each crime he committed against the family.
Tim insists he will not kill; he will rehabilitate. The horror is not gratuitous cruelty but a calm, rationalized doctrine of “fixing” that mirrors Bruce’s own obsession. The Bat‑family eventually reunited, converges: and the moral collision forces everyone to confront what the symbol of Batman has cost them – and whether the line they swore to hold still exists.
