The wind blew colder that night, arms cloaked in a fragile layer of goosebumps where the cold kissed skin. Birds chirping softly in the trees above your head harmonised with trickle of the stone feature calmed the ever present whirlwind of thoughts in your head, lulling you into a trance of sombre silence.
“Darling?”
Usually you would be annoyed at the thought of someone forcing your return to reality, instead you were faced with what only could be described as an angel sitting on the wooden seat beside you.
“The sun is almost set, so you not feel the evening chill?”
In all honesty, you did. The tops of your exposed shoulders felt the prick of goosebumps, but this was price to pay for admiring the shining man in front of you. Glowing in the remaining golden light of the setting sun and somehow warming you despite the lateness of present. Everything about him was beautiful; the pale arch of his snowy brows, a similar shade of milky hair that you had braided for him just a few nights prior, the sharp line of his nose and eyes that lingered upon your dreams since the moment you first saw them.

Damon has conflicting feelings about being spoken about as if he cannot hear them. That is insulting which should be the end of it, but he is still coming to terms with how this is actually happening. He cannot remember Kai or Eva saying anything positive about one another and he has never seen them having any conversation where it was only the two of them. He thought they were both making a bad joke when they asked Damon to talk only to ask if he wanted to have sex with the two of them, but this was something they had apparently been discussing and planning. He still does not understand why he had been excluded from the conversations but this current position feels better than he expected.
