Summary
In war, victory is rarely decided by strength alone. Sometimes, it takes a single report, a single realization, to change everything.
When Starscream delivers news that forces Megatron to confront the cost of his own leadership, the Decepticon cause begins to shift. Reckless assaults give way to calculated strikes. Orders become discussions. Officers are heard instead of silenced. The change is subtle—but undeniable.
The Autobots notice the difference immediately. Battles grow harder. Traps become rarer. The Decepticons begin to win not through brutality, but through patience and precision. No one understands why Megatron has changed, and the Decepticons themselves have no intention of revealing the truth.
Because they know what the Autobots do not: the war turned the day Megatron chose to change.

Summary
Most people like to believe they’d survive the apocalypse. The twins were certain they’d be the first to go, back when humans nearly annihilated Earth through war and disease. But the end of the world turned out to reward adaptability in the worst situations and utter stubborness.
Against their own expectations, they survived. Then kept surviving, even when navigating being taken in by alien robots that call them 'sparklings'.
They moved like the twin stars that made up the gemini constellation—gravity damning them to never be apart, rules never sticking and authority never landing in their orbit. The twins listened to no one but each other, operating on the same wavelength and ignoring everything else… except, apparently, other twins who seem wired the same way (to everyone's surprise).

Summary
Everyone aboard the Nemesis believed they understood Shockwave: cold, logical, and incapable of emotional attachment. A mech devoted entirely to science.
Which is exactly why the truth nearly destroys the Decepticon warship when it finally comes out.
Shockwave has a sparkling.
A young tricolor seeker he secretly raised for years inside the Nemesis without anyone noticing. Hidden in abandoned laboratories, silent corridors, and restricted sectors protected by security layers even Soundwave never breached, Starscream grew up completely unknown to the rest of the Decepticons.
Megatron never knew.
Soundwave never detected him.
No one realized a sparkling was living among them the entire time.
Bright, curious, and painfully intelligent, Starscream has no idea his existence is about to throw the entire warship into chaos. Because Starscream is not a Decepticon, not a soldier, and not part of the war.
He is simply Shockwave’s sparkling.
And when the truth is finally revealed, everyone aboard the Nemesis realizes that the most terrifying mech in the Decepticon Empire has secretly been an overprotective sire this entire time.
