Summary
After spending the last couple years traveling and carrying out missions for the Hidden Leaf following the war, Sasuke is sent an invitation to Naruto and Hinata's wedding. Filled with the despair of having lost the love of his life, for good, Sasuke only sees one way out of this situation.
Then, with his impeccable timing, Kakashi calls him back to the Hidden Leaf --- insisting that he stays in the village for a full month. No missions, nothing to do, and everybody around him insisting he needs to reconnect with the world.
Sasuke keeps to himself, and plans to avoid Naruto as much as he can while he's back. But with all the pressure around him, and time running out before the wedding, Sasuke doubts he can avoid that boy forever.

Instead, Sasuke emerged from the tragedy as a beacon of quiet strength, unwavering kindness, and a deep-seated desire to protect those around him. He still carries his grief, but it manifests as a fierce loyalty and a gentle wisdom far beyond his years.

He ends up bumping into two teens wandering around lost who might have the answers.
