    "I'm backup!" she whispered, dropping the accent but oozing with glee. "Secret backup."

If you Marchers have a different definition of the word, well, I hardly see how that’s my problem. I won’t tell you to piss off, Varric…but I will ask you to keep holding me for a while. And maybe shut up for a minute, while you’re at it.”

    That, it turned out, he could do.

    And that’s where it started, if he had to put his finger on it. That’s where it all began.
