Summary
Sergei Sikora is a sociologist; specifically, a xenosociologist, a branch of the sciences not much respected until it was very much in demand when the Affini Compact turned up. Spectacularly unable to handle the Affini invasion, the discipline nevertheless, in the immediate wake of the Accord's collapse, looks for ways to win the battle of ideologies, and plans a great convention, a Xenosociological Congress, to take place on the resort world of Partelia.
Unfortunately, theirs is not the only party taking advantage of the beautiful weather and sunny beaches of Partelia; the beeple are coming.
For the HDG Community's June Beeple Jam, this is The Xenosociological Congress, a loving semi-pastiche of a novella by one of sci-fi's great minds, Stanislaw Lem. Those familiar with the original may notice a few motifs carried through, but this is an otherwise original work of very lewd fiction. Mind those tags!

Summary
Zoran's first mission right out of basic ended with him the sole survivor of his ship, shoved into an escape pod at the last second by the man who took him under his wing. His second, he volunteered for, in the name of revenge for that selfless superior who saved his life. Fortunately for Zoran, he never stood a chance, and his target was a certain very big ship full of very little florets.
