The trials of Angband and the Helcaraxe have shaped Maedhros and Fingolfin into something very different from the soft princes of Tirion. Their former camaraderie, interrupted by the feud of their houses, turns now into more. A sharper thing shaped by their desire — for vengeance, and for each other — and ghosts from their past, far and near.
