A fantasy world of boys on generic magical quests getting distracted by other boys. Or, a world in which I subvert, upend, break or otherwise fuck around with the tropes of the epic fantasy genre, primarily by adding lots of gayness.
All set in the same world and the same timeline, so there is overlap in themes, places, supporting characters, etc. between stories. However, the stories are all independent of one another and have their own plots and storylines. My goal is that a reader can read any or all of the stories in which they are interested and skip those in which they are not without missing out on the overall story.

There is a certain relief to be found, even as he's cornered himself. One way forward, no way out. Carl's walked onto a tightrope, and it doesn't seem he'll get to step off any time soon.
He can worry later. Carl can reflect and agonize and search for the answers to why everything is the way it is, why his own group doesn't trust him- why even after he's saved their lives, it all might go sideways anyway- later.
Right now, he has a future to take care of.

Summary
(I’m blaming the existence of this series on you guys. You were the ones who commented, boosting my motivation to write such a series as this.)
Made official on 2/3/2022, this is a series created by yours truly venting through all my favorite fandoms. (Even over a year after its "birth" (pardon the pun), it's still in the MCYT space, but could be due to change as my interests branch out.)
At its core concept, this is a series covering periods. Sometimes it's more focused on the painful or gross aspects of that time of the month while other stories are more focused on the more emotional effects --- sometimes hardly even mentioning periods, but alluding to them.
For those who have stuck around to read the series: thank you. You folks motivate me to continue writing oneshot after oneshot. This series makes one of THE WORST weeks of life very bearable --- sometimes even enjoyable --- for me, and I'm happy to have gotten such a good response from it.
This series will forever (hopefully) continue until I (and others) get the comfort we need. *Throws at you hurt/comfort to sustain you another day*
